Gwen Maze is a mixture of electronik frequencies,film soundtracks and funky groove . His compositions from deep house to techno are a reflection of those many influences.

His first 12" on Dialect, Selectorama EP, had received wide international support from House/electro jocks such as Ivan Smagghe, Freestyle Man, DJ T, D’Julz, to minimal/techno hot shots like Dan Bell and Jack de Marseille. He Remixed Phil Stump for Tombones rec; Released I HATE NOTHING EP (Dialect) , found its way in the bags of many DJ, including Laurent Garnier, Mike Monday, Chloé, M.A.N.D.Y, Jef K .Gwen released a Battle EP opposite Thugfucker - playlisted by the likes of Rob Mello, Mike Monday, Tim Paris, D'Julz, Chloé.

Since 2000 Gwen quickly made a name for himself as a DJ in all the hot spots of the musically active Parisian scene. He was booked more and more to play for such notable events and clubs as the Techno Parade , the famous Kwality parties @ Batofar and played at the prestigious Rex Club, Pulp, Nouveau Casino, Tryptique, and the trendy Eyes Need Sugar parties. He became dj resident @ Batofar and the club Les Bains douches .He performed Live sets with (and without) musicians in his party called Hardclashbattlefigth with cyril K and Tim Paris.
